The Client

Little Dreamers is a modern children’s fashion boutique offering both a warm and inviting brick-and-mortar shopping experience and a convenient e-commerce platform to service the St. Louis area and beyond. Whether it’s a soft organic cotton onesie, a cozy knit sweater, or trendy yet practical accessories, Little Dreamers has everything newborns and toddlers need, and is a go-to brand for families with young children who place a high value on quality items that strike the perfect balance between style and comfort. 

The Objectives

The goal of this project was to craft a brand identity that embodies the company’s dedication to offering premium, individually curated products that allow kids to freely explore, play, and enjoy their childhood to the fullest, and resonates with customers who value that. In strategic conversations, we determined that the visual representation of the brand should evoke the brand’s values and vision – quality, modern, neutral, and sophisticated, but with a playful and inviting touch.

The Approach

The foundational brand identity elements were carefully crafted to follow a clean and modern style with a touch of playfulness. The celestial graphics making up the brand submark were inspired by the brand’s name and the founder’s purpose of encouraging children to aspire to their goals and dreams. These graphics add a whimsical and imaginative touch to the brand’s identity, capturing the essence of childhood wonder and exploration. The chosen fonts convey a sense of professionalism and elegance while maintaining a friendly and approachable feel.
The overall color palette was chosen to be neutral, creating a high-end and sophisticated aesthetic, while also strategically pulling in certain tones. Usage of these color accents was intended to bring vibrancy and visual interest to the brand identity, while maintaining consistency with the tones commonly found in the brand’s product offering. Ultimately, these elements work harmoniously to create a cohesive and visually appealing brand identity that resonates with the target audience and sets the boutique apart in the market.
